Established in the mid-1990's, Inn Confidence first gained approval to deliver and administer BIIAB qualifications in 1996.

The company has since grown to become a highly regarded and dedicated team of tutors, examination officers, consultants, associates, training partners and administration staff, all committed to providing the very best level of service to our corporate and public candidates for the NCPLH & SCPLH.

Inn Confidence is classified as a Grade ONE centre with the BIIAB, in recognition of our ‘outstanding quality procedures, communication and administrative systems’.

Head of the team is Mike Nickson, a retired police licensing officer from Merseyside.

Mike is principal trainer for Inn Confidence but also provides consultancy services on licensing issues to the ‘on’ & ‘off’ trades as well as to police forces, licensing authorities, trading standards departments and health authorities.

Mike is passionate about promoting the responsible retailing of alcohol and playing his part to support the trade to sell alcohol in a socially accountable way.
