After You Pass – Applying for a Personal Licence

Once you pass your APLH exam, you can apply for your personal licence.
You will need:

  • Your original APLH qualification certificate

  • A completed personal licence application form (from your local council)

  • A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (valid for 28 days) – £21.50

  • Two passport photos, certified by a professional

  • The £37 council application fee
